Background
The planet
Rangesh is a planet about two times bigger than Earth and posesses a gaseous atmosphere with about 30% oxygen. It has three moons. Half of the planet's surface is made of oceans, the other half of continents. The dominant vegetation on land are photosynthetic and chemotrophic funghi; the creatures living on this planet are something similar to animals, but the cell structure is completely different from animals from earth.

The Shark Imps/Den'Zarr:
General - They're an intelligent species living on land, with rather highly advanced technologies. A few years years ago they started communicating telepathically with the humans on earth; however, the signal is very weak and it takes quite a lot of time to travel trough space. It's quite astonishing though how similar they look to humans; experts on Medusa IV (that have hacked the information streams of earth) speculate about space/time travelling scientists that conducted illegal genetical experiments on humans and set the "products" free on various planets in this galaxy.

Appearance and body (look at this sketch while reading this section: [link] ) - The humans named the Den'Zarr "Shark Imps" because of their appearance: they have shark-like skin (both the colour and the structure are similar) and sharp teeth. They are fairly good swimmers and can breath under water (the lungs are optimized for both assimilating oxygen as a gas and in aquaeous solution). Their skin's texture makes them glide through the water smoothly. The majority of them have silver-white hair.
Their brain and psyche reaches maturity after one and half an earth year; their body after 20 earth years.
They have a special trait that is revealed when their skin on their forehead begins to peel off at the age of about 10 to 11 earth years and uncovers a little sign that usually glow in white to silver. To hinder the skin to peel off even more the Den'Zarr use an artificially produced red stone that they wear over the peeled off spot on their forehead. If they didn't wear those headbands with the red stone that mark would constantly attract electrons from their surroundings which becomes quite unconvenient the next time your forehead decharges --> seeing stars guaranteed. It's especially a hindrance when they try to swim in salty ocean water without the head band

Society - There are about three hundred thousands individuals of them living on Rangesh. They live together in cities and villages located at the oceans, lakes or bigger rivers. Even if their body is still in growth, the individuals that have reached the age of one and half an earth year are accepted as full members of society.
Each town has its own leader/mayor who is determined in competitions of intelligence and wits, through swimming races and physical fights every 3 earth years.

How Zach got into this mess, or: How he got interrupted while receiving the title of the mayor *cough* (See mission 1 [link] )
Nobody in this city knows which city Zach originally comes from, he just settled down here two moon crosses (=when the paths of two of the moons cross) ago. Nobody knows what he looks like under his goggles that he never takes off. Despite of this fact and his flaming red hair he befriended other kids in town quite quickly. Just two months ago a bloody dispute between this and the neighbour city enflared where quite a few people died. When both of the cities' leaders died in the same battle, the two cities concluded an armistice. They even planned a peace treaty, but they still need two new mayors to sign it.
So Zach joined the competition and became the Champion of his city. He was just receiving the Aquamarine Sicle, the token of this city's mayor, on the appointment ceremony - when he got teleported away by Matrix!
Now he's quite worried about the peace treaty and the city, since not all of the citizens trust him completely (because he wasn't born here)... he thinks that they might accuse him of treason and being an infiltrator from the neighbour city.
Sooo... he's really pissed at the person that teleported him away

Personality
He's... not the kind of guy of whom you'd think he could be a mayor He's very short-tempered, quite full of himself and he likes to brag. His mind is that a fourteen-year-old boy... means, he's a vain idiot brat. Means, he gets bored easily, likes fights and challenges.
He is a veeery proud person, he's never been defeated in open public before and therefore gets irritated if someone dares to nag about his skills.
He's a quite pragmatic person; although he avoids unnecessary killing, he'd be determined enough not to get killed himself and, well, kill his opponent.

Fighting style, weapons and inventory
Clothes - He wears an uncuttable black shirt and underwear under his trousers made of special spider's silk - more or less uncuttable; you won't get through with one knife/sword strike, but several strikes would do... or if your character has a chainsaw as a weapon . His jeans have knee-protectors made of rust-free steel. He wears armored gauntlets that he uses for giving his kicks more power. His shoes are... robust shoes. He wears armored wristbands that are equipped with some special technologies - more about them in the following section
His goggles are water-resistant, the "glass" is made of the red stone's material. Additionally there are two more layers on the glass: a layer that completely hides his eyes from other people and a low-light layer that allows him to vaguely see in the dark (especially useful when he looses his torch under-water).
The little star-pin on his fancy jacket is also a sign of him being his city's mayor... so... don't touch it or else he will kill you.

Weapons and fighting style - Because he was in the middle of an important ceremony when he was teleportated away, he doesn't carry any of his own weapons with him XD He usually fights with a long spear, but for now he's got to bear with that Aquamarine Sickle. (1) The sickle is made of rare aquamarine steel, it's very sturdy and sharp. He can pull two strings out of the grip to attach the sickle to his belt. (2) That needle-spouting bow appears when a button on the device hidden under his shirt is pushed - unfortunately Zach didn't listen to the security guy when he told him how to use that device and simply forgot how to use it (for the first round at least). It's originally a defensive anti-kidnapping measure to keep bad guys away from him (well, he's the mayor now!); that thing stores 5 energy needles that are fired at once and the needle dissolve shortly after impact with a physical object. (3) The wristbands are armored and have circuitery interruptors integrated. Zach can short out electric devices if they get in touch with his wristbands. He also uses them in combats to protect his hand palms if needed.
Furthermore he's good at hand-to-hand-combat, with long weapons (like spears) and swimming. He's very athletic and experienced in fighting. He's the type that attacks first. He plays dirty.
He'd be in high disadvantage if he engaged a long-range fighter that was in a long distance from him.
His skin is quite rough (like sandpaper) but is similar to that of a human beside that. Like all Den'Zarrians he has a fine hearing and can perceive supersonic waves; he's rather bad at making supersonic sounds (he's a guy = deeper voice).

Inventory - Beside his battle tools he carries around a water-resistant phosphorescent marker (= the colour glows) in his pocket. It is usually used to mark edges in dark spots under water so that the next person without torch that comes across doesn't hit his/her head somewhere.

More stuff you (don't really) need to know about Zach
He never takes his goggles off. Never.
His red hair isn't dyed.
He likes good food, he eats anything.
He didn't like go hunting because he's spotted by the prey so easily due to his red hair
He doesn't know it (yet) but he's afraid of heights over ground (over water is no problem though).
Don't touch the star pin. That'd put him into rage mode really fast
He's an idiot.

Yoohooo, I'm joining you guys after all ... I hope this new dude is easier to handle than Amber (and that I won't have to worry about too long entries)
And... he's wearing goggles!! GOGGLES FTW!! (<-- I've been having a goggle-fetish since I was a kid... it's Digimon's fault XDD I was a huge Digimon-fan back then... lol) I changed the flyer goggles to ski goggles when I saw what Elliot is wearing now I don't think anybody would confuse those two but...
I'm not sure how I came up with this design o_Ô It just happened ~(°w°)~ But somehow this app looks messier than Amber's back then... hm. No improvement?!!

I'm reeeally excited now... I'm itching on drawing him in battle
